All-American Mutt Show slated for October 29th
Strut your mutt during Howl-O-Ween
The Humane Society of Vero Beach & Indian River County invites the community’s canines to participate in its annual All-American Mutt Show. The event is set for Saturday, October 29th at The Humane Society. Registration begins at noon and judging starts at 1:00 p.m.
The fee to attend the Mutt Show is $10 per vehicle and includes all Humane Society Howl-O-Ween festivities including hayrides, a bounce house, haunted barn, dunk tank, face painting and the “Slithering Snakes Alive” reptile presentation.

Unlike the Westminster Dog Show, The Humane Society’s All-American Mutt Show looks for unique qualities in every dog, from nonconformity of appearance to each canine’s individual “mutt-a-nality”. The Annual Mutt Show also gives “pet parents” an opportunity to share some fun with their canine companions.
Canine participants must be current on vaccines, wear a leash and collar and be accompanied by one or more adult human companions. Pedigrees as well as mutts are welcome to participate. Call 388-3331 ext. 19 for more information.
