Humane Society Hosts “Art for Animals” November 26 & 27

Vero Beach, FL) The Humane Society of Vero Beach and Indian River County (HSVB & IRC) is set to host “Art for Animals,” an art show and sale to benefit the animals of the community. All artwork displayed will feature Indian River County artists portraying domestic animals and Florida’s native wildlife through mixed media, paintings and drawings, sculpture, pottery, jewelry, needlework and digital art.

The event will be held on Saturday, November 26th from 10:00.m.-5:00 p.m. and Sunday, November 27th from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at The Humane Society of Vero Beach and Indian River County. The animal shelter is located at 6230 77th St., Vero Beach. The “Art for Animals” show will be free and open to all members of the public.

Indian River County artists interested in displaying their work can obtain guidelines and registration information by visiting the The Humane Society of Vero Beach and Indian River County or downloading the “Art for Animals” application at http://hsvb.org/forms/ArtForAnimalsEntryForm.pdf. The submission deadline for artwork is Tuesday, November 1.
