K-9 Nose Work class lets dogs sniff out fun
(Vero Beach, Florida) – Let your dog sniff out some fun when The
Humane Society of Vero Beach and Indian River County (HSVB & IRC)
hosts an Introduction to K-9 Nose Work class on Saturday, March 12th
from 1-4 p.m. at the shelter's Adoption and Education Building located
at 6230 77th St., Vero Beach. Taught by Vero Beach dog trainer Cissy
Sumner, nose work teaches dogs how to develop their natural scenting
abilities to locate toys and treats. Nose work skill development
provides dogs with both mental stimulation and exercise.
The class is $25 per person with one dog and proceeds from the class
will benefit the animals of Indian River County. Registration with
payment must be received by Friday, March 11th. Limited space is
